Francini Hak is currently a research member of the ALGORITMI Research Center and an Invited Assistant Professor from Information Systems Department at University of Minho.

She has a master's degree in Engineering and Management of Information Systems, obtained in 2019. She continued her studies, currently being a Ph.D. student in Technology and Information Systems at University of Minho.

The focus of her research work is on Decision Support Systems in healthcare, exploring open standards and interoperability approaches in collaboration with Portuguese healthcare facilities.

In 2020, she started a research scholarship in the Easy Ride project managed by the partnership between University of Minho and Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal. In the middle of 2021, she got a PhD scholarship funded by the FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia.
